NEDO and Fukushima Innovation Coast Initiatives Promotion Organization held \u201cInterconnection Symposium for Safe Drone Operation\u201d on July 26th<\/sup>, Wednesday at the Fukushima Robot Test Field (RTF).<\/p>\n

In this symposium, 118 people interested in drones and UTM joined and had a lecture from John Walker, the chairperson of ISO\/TC20\/SC16 about status and importance of international standardization on drone.<\/p>\n

In addition, to show a project progress, we presented development of Drone Traffic Management System, which enable drone mutually connected, releasement of API (Application Programming Interface), and schedule of interoperability test. Moreover, along with announcing a progress of developing collision avoidance technology and result of test flight, we conducted a panel discussion to deepen understanding on importance of interoperability in regards to Drone Traffic Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
