We hold the symposium on human resource development, academic-industrial collaboration, robot performance evaluation ~kick-off of Human Resource Development Lecture~
The Fukushima Robot Test Field (RTF) has been developed in Minamisoma City and Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture, as a major base for developing land, sea and air robots that respond to logistics, infrastructure inspections, and large-scale disasters. All Fukushima RTF facilities are expected to open in 2020.
The Ministry of Economy and NEDO have formulated a performance evaluation method to evaluate robots performance in Fukushima RTF.
This time, Manufacture Science and Technology Center (MSTC) will hold the symposium on "robot performance evaluation method" and "RTF status". The symposium will feature keynote speeches based on the experiences of the terrorist attacks in the US on September 11th, 2001.
