【Overview】

On the first day of WRS 2018, 17th of October, we had a speeech session by John Walker (chairman of ISO/TC20/SC16), who NEDO had invited from the U.S., Mr. Miyamoto (NEDO Deputy Director and Project Manager for DRESS Project), Mr. Nonami (chairman of Japan Drone Consortium), and Mr. Takekawa (Vice President & Head of IoT Business of Zenrin Co., Ltd.) at Drone Session of NEDO Robot & AI Forum 2018.

The speech session dealing with "challenges for international standardization," "Approach of Dress Project," and "Challenges for the utilization of drone technology with large social impact" from the perspective of drones' social implementation had acquired so big attention before the session was held that the application got full at early stage. Moreover, a lot of audience was seen to take notes eagerly at the session.
